We offer a free survey of your carpets/upholstery in your home or at work in which we carry out a test on the materials to be cleaned to assess what is required to achieve the best results. This enables us to demonstrate how the end result will look and give an accurate price for the work being undertaken.
The cleaning process:
First, we thoroughly vacuum the carpet to remove dry soil. Vacuuming extracts dust and grit, preventing it turning into a muddy residue when we begin cleaning with our machines.
Once we have finished vacuuming the area, the carpets are pre-sprayed with a chemical which we agitate into the carpet with rotary machines or large hand rakes to help release the dirt trapped deep in the carpet pile.
We then use a blend of rinse and sanitising agents in our high powered extraction machines to extract the dirt and residue from your carpet. This process leaves the carpet smelling clean and fresh and free from hidden bacteria.
Once we have cleaned the carpets we then look to remove any stubborn stain and draft marks that may have been left behind and need stronger, specialised stain removers.
The carpets should take 6-8 hours to dry but we can accelerate the drying time by adding high-powered air movers to the room we have finished cleaning, this can reduce the drying time down to as little as 45 minutes.
When the work is complete we put back all furniture and where necessary, place protective pads underneath to prevent dye from bleeding into carpets and protect any metal objects coming into contact with the drying carpet/s.
